Storytelling in Furniture Design

Objective
As designers, we want to understand what influences people's choice of their home decor. Through the experiment, the team was trying to understand whether an emotional connection to the peace of furniture has a place.

Fundings
The results of the experiment were conclusive that there is indeed an emotional response to furniture. Interestingly enough - older people have a greater attachment to furniture rather than young people. This, as well as design, play a large roll in what people chose for furniture and it is valuable information for designers’ thought process.
